A 15-hour course delivered by an experienced Chartered Accountant in morning or afternoon sessions. Designed for existing users of Microsoft Excel who wish to explore its more advanced features, it demonstrates the software’s analytical capabilities through powerful functions and commands. It also provides automating spreadsheet techniques resulting in increased productivity at work and decision-making tools for setting targets, building scenarios or presenting results in a dynamic way. 

 

It covers such topics as external linking, 3-dimensional features of Excel, advanced data filtering and analysis, some advanced functions, collaborating with Word and other applications, file/content security and other automating capabilities of Microsoft Excel. Participants are invited to suggest their own areas of interest for inclusion in the course topics.

The course counts for 15 units towards the Continuing Professional Development requirements of ICPAC, ICAEW, ACCA and other IFAC member bodies following the CPD Standard IES 7.
